Limited-edition Prova d’Orchestra poster inspired by Federico Fellini’s 1979 film Orchestra Rehearsal. This silkscreen is hand-pulled, numbered, dry-stamped, and signed by Cuban artist Raúl Valdés “Raupa.” Unlined and in excellent condition.
The design reinterprets the film’s thematic tension through the bold visual language of Cuban poster art, an influential tradition recognized by UNESCO’s Memory of the World programme for its cultural significance. This limited edition Prova d’Orchestra poster pays tribute to the enduring legacy of the film poster that still inspires both established and up-and-coming designers from the island and all over the world.
Commissioned with the support of the European Union, the work was created for the 2018 Restored European Classic Films initiative organized by Cartelón Cuba. Raupa’s silkscreen reflects both the spirit of cinematic modernism and the precision of craft.
